TRANSPARENT SOURCING · CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES

Know the stone.
Know the transaction.

A trustworthy purchase depends on more than a grading report. Howwell Diamond makes the available information, commercial roles and next steps clear before a client decides.

THE REVIEW FRAMEWORK

Evidence and terms,
considered together.

01 / IDENTITY

Check the report

Compare the report number, stated grades and available laboratory record with the seller’s listing. A report is third-party grading information, not a valuation or a guarantee about the seller’s offer.

02 / VISUAL REVIEW

Review the stone

Where supplied, review current video, magnified images and light-performance tools. A report record alone cannot confirm the offered stone is the same stone; an independent inspection can check the inscription and the stone itself.

03 / PROVENANCE

Ask what is documented

Origin and traceability information is stated only where supporting records are available. Any limits in the documentation are made clear; a grading report does not establish a diamond’s source history.

04 / COMMERCIALS

Confirm terms and delivery

Confirm the dated quote, currency, seller, payment recipient, return terms, inspection window, fees, insured shipping, delivery responsibilities and applicable taxes before purchase.

BEFORE ANY PURCHASE

Every client should know
who is responsible.

The role can vary by transaction. We identify it in writing before a purchase commitment.

01

Who is the seller?

The written quote identifies the legal seller, who issues the invoice and who receives payment. Howwell Diamond’s role is stated for that transaction.

02

How is the service paid?

Any agreed sourcing fee, commission, referral payment or third-party cost is disclosed before the client proceeds.

03

What happens if plans change?

Availability, inspection, return, cancellation, shipping and insurance terms are confirmed with the relevant counterparty before purchase.

Import duties, GST and other taxes depend on the transaction, destination and applicable rules. Obtain current advice for the specific route; this website is not tax, legal or gemmological advice.

SCOPE & INDEPENDENCE

Howwell Diamond provides sourcing and procurement coordination. It is not a gemmological laboratory, valuation service or certifying authority. No relationship with a seller, laboratory, trade platform or jeweller should be inferred unless it is expressly disclosed.
